Lezah studied at the University of Queensland, graduating with degrees in Arts and honours in Law before qualifying as a solicitor in 1987. Lezah subsequently was awarded a Master of Law with honours from the University of Cambridge, England. She has a corporate finance and commercial law background with major national and international law firms in Brisbane, Sydney, London, Tokyo and Hong Kong and returned in 2003 to live in Australia.
Lezah is a very experienced lawyer and director of LGM Family Law, practising exclusively in family law. As the principal of LGM Family Law, Lezah has a broad experience in family law including the areas of separation and divorce, complex property settlements for both married and de facto couples, spousal maintenance, family violence and arrangements for children. Lezah is currently undertaking a Masters in Applied Family Law.
Lezah’s corporate commercial law background is of real benefit to family law clients, particularly in more complex property matters involving businesses, larger investment portfolios and corporate and trust structures.
Lezah established LGM Family Law to provide a professional and at the same time personalised service for our clients. She understands that finalising property and parenting arrangements can be a stressful time for clients and carefully guides and supports clients through the legal process.
Lezah builds relationships of trust with our clients. She ensures that she is readily accessible so that clients can obtain the advice that they need on an ongoing basis and understand the legal implications. Lezah’s focus is on providing sensible, practical advice, making sure that our clients understand the options available to them and achieving the best available outcome for clients, reflecting their goals, values and needs.
In her spare time, Lezah enjoys volunteering at community groups, spending time with family and friends and painting (pictures not walls!).
